In honour of IYA, Canada Post will be printing two different beautiful commemorative stamp designs. These collector’s items will be premiered at a special cancellation ceremony during the 100 Hours of Astronomy in April 2009. They will be on sale for a one-year period. Canada Post is printing 6 million astronomy stamps as well as 300,000 souvenir sheets.
