Organizations and Companies may apply to use the IYA logo in Canada. As delegated to the National Nodes by the International Astronomical Union, applications will be reviewed and — if appropriate — approved by the Canadian IYA Coordinating Committee. In general, the Committee expects logo users to support Canadian astronomy and IYA2009.

The Committee has pre-approved the use of the logo by the current IYA partners (Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, Canadian Astronomical Society and Fédération des astronomes amateurs du Québec) and all of their associated Centres and Clubs.

All other organizations will need to complete the following application form to request approval.
